Bill Gillespie Q&A

Postby libertyfootball » March 9th, 2010, 2:07 pm

We will be running a Q&A interview with Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Bill Gillespie in the next E-Newsletter. If you would like to ask Coach a question please go ahead and post it as a reply, or email it to libertyfootball@liberty.edu.

You may remember we did the same withg Coach Rocco back in the Summer - here is the link to that interview. All the questions were from this forum, Facebook, and Twitter.

I've got a question if it's not too late. Is Bill in charge of player nutrition as he is their workouts? Do the players have set things they're required to eat on certain days/meals?

Great question LUconn. Yours is the first we have had which is surprising. Coach Rocco feels that the most important member of the football staff is the head strength and conditioning coach due to the amount of time they get to spend with the team compared to the position coaches. I assumed we'd have more responses.

If we get more questions, we may run it in the next E-Newsletter.

You should take some "regular guys" to the coach and have them go through one of the football team's workouts, and do a feature on it. It would be pretty interesting/funny.
